Big Hat Ranch offers affordable full-care stall and pasture horse boarding services. Our boarded horses enjoy large stalls and shady, grassy, and maintained pastures. Each horse's care is customized to its owner's preference and the horse's unique needs. The owners of Big Hat Ranch live on and oversee the barn and property around the clock.
Above The Barn
Above The Barn at Big Hat Ranch is peaceful, spacious, and comfortable. The 600 sq ft - 1 bedroom apartment above the barn that can accommodate up to three adults. The barn has two stalls for layover guests traveling with horses and there are 5 acres of seperate pasture turnout, for guests use. RV hook ups are also available. Guests can enjoy the serenity, ride on premises or take to the nearby trails, & learn learn more about equines and livestock during a guided animal encounters.
Riding Lessons
The riding lesson program offers riders of all levels of horsemanship an opportunity to broaden their riding skills. Our instructors have years of experience and training in both western and English riding disciplines. Lesson horses, tack, and safety equiptment are available
Equine Experience
Meet the resident donkeys, horses, cows, and chickens of Big Hat Ranch. Come learn about the animals and feed them treats, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful and serene country side. Individual, small, and larger group options available.
